Extract pages from a PDFkeep what you need

Each page is drawn as a thumbnail, so you can find the section you need by eye instead of counting page numbers first.

Tap a thumbnail and an orange tick covers it. Tap again to drop it from the selection. Nothing happens to the document until you press Extract, so you can change your mind freely.

Click one thumbnail and press Extract. You get a one-page PDF, and the original stays exactly as it was on your disk. This is the fastest way to send someone just the signature page or just the invoice.

Click the first page you want, then the rest of the run. Chapters, appendices, and a single month out of a long statement all work this way. The button shows the count so you can check it before saving.

The selection does not have to be one continuous block. Picking pages 2, 9, and 15 gives you one three-page PDF with those pages in that order. This is how most people build a short packet out of a long report.

Everything you pick lands in a single PDF. If what you actually want is a separate file for each page, that is the split tool's each-page mode rather than this one.

The new file follows the order the pages had in the source, no matter which one you clicked first. Save the extract, then rearrange it if you need a different sequence.

The two are the same job from opposite ends. When you are keeping most of the document, deleting a few pages is less clicking. When you are keeping a handful out of a hundred, extracting wins.

No. Pages are copied whole, with their text, fonts, and images intact, so nothing is redrawn and nothing softens. The new file is usually much smaller simply because it holds fewer pages.

Page content comes across as it is, and most annotations survive. Interactive form fields can be flattened when pages move into a new document, and a link that pointed at a page you left behind has nowhere to go. Fill a form before extracting from it.

A locked file cannot be read until the password is removed, so the upload card declines it and offers a link instead. Unlock it first, then pick your pages from the plain copy.

The pages are read and the new file is written inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, so a confidential report never leaves the machine you are sitting at.

The page runs in a mobile browser with no app to install, and tapping thumbnails works well with a finger. Drawing every thumbnail of a very long document is the one step that takes a moment on a phone.
