Because a folder of photos is a mess to send and a PDF is not. Email a dozen JPGs and they arrive as a dozen loose attachments, in whatever order the mail client feels like. Put them in one PDF and the receiver gets a single file with the pages in the order you chose, on every device, every time.

It also solves the upload-form problem. Expense systems, job portals, university admissions, and government sites often accept exactly one file, and it has to be a PDF. Photographed receipts, a scanned ID, pages of homework, a signed lease shot with your phone camera: run them through here and they become the one document the form wants.

Printing gets easier too. A PDF page has a fixed size, so what you see is what comes out of the printer. No cropped edges, no surprise rotations.

This converter does not recompress your images. The original JPG or PNG bytes are embedded in the PDF as they are, so the document shows exactly the picture you gave it, at full resolution. Choose fit-to-image and each page is sized to its photo down to the pixel.

The honest flip side: big photos make big PDFs. Twenty 8 MB camera shots produce a PDF in the same neighborhood. If the result needs to be smaller, shrink the photos first or run the finished file through our compress tool.

Added the pages in the wrong order? Fix it before converting with the reorder arrows; nothing is locked in until you click Convert. For sizing, fit-to-image keeps each page exactly as big as its picture, while A4 and US Letter center every photo on a standard page with a small margin. Standard pages are the safer pick when the PDF is headed for a printer or an official form.
