Remove pages from a PDFclick, click, save

Drag one PDF onto the upload card, or click it to browse. Files can be up to 50 MB.

Every page is drawn as a thumbnail. You pick pages by looking at them, which beats typing page numbers you have to count out first.

Tap a thumbnail and a bin icon covers it, which means it is queued for deletion. Tap it again to change your mind. Nothing is removed until you press the save button, so you can go back and forth as much as you like.

Click that one thumbnail and save. This is the most common job on this page: a blank sheet from a scanner, a duplicated cover, or a page that belongs to someone else's document.

Click as many as you want before saving. They do not have to sit next to each other, so removing pages 2, 7, and 14 in one pass is normal. The button tells you exactly how many pages will go.

Use Select all, then click the handful you want to keep so they go back to unmarked. When you are keeping only a small number, picking the keepers directly in the extract tool is less clicking.

Double-sided scanners produce a blank page for every sheet with nothing on the back. The thumbnails make these easy to spot: they are the plain white ones. Click them all, save once, and the file is half the length.

Cover sheets, fax headers, and trailing terms pages are all one click. The remaining pages keep their order, so nothing else shifts around.

The saved PDF is built fresh from the pages you kept, so the removed pages are not carried along in a hidden layer. Anyone you send the file to gets only the pages that are left.

That is page-level removal, not content removal. If the problem is a name or an account number sitting on a page you need to keep, cover-up is not enough and blacking it out in a viewer is not either.

A PDF has to have at least one page to be a valid file, so the button stops you when every page is marked. Leave one page selected as a keeper, or take a different route and pull out the pages you want into a new document.

There is no undo inside the tool, but your original file is untouched. Deleting reads the file and writes a new one, so the version on your disk still has every page. Load it again and start over.

A locked file cannot be read until the password comes off, so the upload card turns it away with a link. Remove the password, trim the plain copy, then protect it again if you need to.

Portals often cap uploads at a few megabytes. Removing pages the form does not ask for is usually a bigger win than compression, because each page takes its images with it. Compress afterwards if you are still slightly over.

The document is read, rebuilt, and saved inside your browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, which matters when the pages you are removing are from a contract, a statement, or a medical record.

The page works in a mobile browser with no app to install: thumbnails stack into a grid and you tap the ones to remove. A long document takes a moment to draw all its thumbnails on a phone.
