Every page is drawn as a small preview, so you can find the page you want by looking at it rather than by counting.

Grab a thumbnail by the grip marked Drag and drop it where you want it to land. Everything else shifts to make room. The badge in the corner shows the new position, and a second badge shows which page it used to be, so you can always tell what you moved.

Every page also has an arrow on each side of the grip. Tapping one moves that page a single place earlier or later. It is slower for a big rearrangement but more precise for a small one, and it works with a keyboard.

Drag the thumbnail onto the first slot. This is the usual fix when a cover letter or a signed page was scanned last and ended up at the bottom of the file.

Drop it onto the last slot. Appendices, terms, and annexes tend to belong there, and moving them once is quicker than re-scanning the stack in a different order.

There is no one-click reverse here, and that is worth saying plainly. For a short document, dragging is quick. For a long one, it is not practical, and splitting the file into pieces and merging them back in the order you want is the faster route.

Reset order puts every page back where it started. The file stays loaded, so you can try a different arrangement straight away.

Save stays disabled until at least one page has actually moved. It is a guard against downloading a copy that is identical to the file you already have. Move one page and it lights up.

Merging joins documents end to end, which is rarely the reading order you want. Merge first, then arrange the pages here in one pass.

If a page should not be in the document at all, removing it is a different job from reordering. Take it out first, then arrange what is left.

Page numbers are drawn by position, so numbering first and reordering afterwards leaves the numbers scrambled. Get the sequence right here, save, then add numbers to the saved file.

A locked file cannot be read until the password comes off, so the upload card declines it and offers a link. Unlock it, reorder the plain copy, and lock it again afterwards if you need to.

The document is rebuilt with the pages in your order. Page content, images, and fonts come across as they are. Bookmarks and interactive form fields can be flattened in the rebuild, so fill a form before reordering it, not after.

The pages are read, rearranged, and written back inside the browser tab. Nothing is sent to a server, so there is no copy of your document to be stored or deleted later.

This works on a phone or tablet the same way it works on a laptop. Each page has a grip marked Drag: press that and move your finger, and the page follows. Pressing anywhere else on the thumbnail scrolls the list as normal, so you never get stuck fighting the page.

If dragging on a small screen feels fiddly, use the arrows either side of the grip instead. Each tap moves that page one place earlier or later, which is the easier route when you only need to nudge one page.
