How to convert PNG images to a PDF
The steps above are the whole job for most people. Below are the questions that come up afterwards: transparency, page size, file size, other image formats, and searchable text.
Add your PNG images and set the page order
Drop the files onto the upload card, or click it to browse. You can add up to 100 images per run, each up to 30 MB. More can be added after the first drop; the list keeps growing until you press Convert.
Pages come out in the order shown in the list. The arrows on each row move an image up or down, and the X takes it out. Nothing is locked in before you convert.
Combine several PNG screenshots into one PDF
Each image becomes one page. A run of screenshots from a bug report or a step-by-step walkthrough turns into a single document that opens the same way on every device, in the order you chose.
What happens to a transparent PNG background
The alpha channel goes into the PDF with the image, but the page under it is white, so anything see-through reads as white. A logo with a knocked-out background will not show a checkerboard and will not go black.
If you were counting on transparency for a design job, a PDF page is the wrong container for that. Keep the PNG for layering work and use the PDF only for sending or printing.
Pick a page size: fit-to-image, A4, or US Letter
Fit-to-image makes each page exactly as big as its picture, with no border and no scaling. Screenshots and artwork usually look best this way.
A4 and US Letter place every image in the middle of a standard page with a small margin. Choose one of these when the PDF is going to a printer or an upload form that expects a normal page.
Does converting PNG to PDF reduce the quality
It does not. The PNG bytes are embedded as they are, with no second pass of compression, so the document shows the exact pixels you supplied.
That means a heavy source makes a heavy PDF. Thirty full-screen retina screenshots add up fast, and the PDF will be roughly their combined size.
Make the finished PDF smaller
Shrink the images before converting, or run the finished document through compression. Compressing afterwards is easier and keeps the page order intact.

Convert a mix of PNG and JPG files
Both formats can sit in the same PDF, in any order. PNG keeps hard edges and text crisp; JPG is lighter for photographs. Mixing them is normal when a report combines screenshots with camera shots.
Convert HEIC or WEBP images instead
This tool accepts PNG and JPG only. An iPhone HEIC file is rejected here. Use the HEIC converter for those, or export the picture as PNG first.

The text in the PDF cannot be searched
A screenshot of text is still a picture once it is inside the PDF, so search finds nothing. Running the finished file through OCR adds a text layer over the images and makes the words findable and copyable.

Add pages to a PDF you already made
Each run builds one fresh PDF. To extend an existing document, convert the new images into their own PDF and then join the two files with the merge tool.
Fix the page order after converting
If the order looks wrong once you see the document, you do not have to start over. Open the PDF in the page organizer, move the pages, and save again.

Convert PNG to PDF on a phone
The tool runs in the mobile browser, with nothing to install. Pick the images from your photo library or files app and the PDF lands in your downloads. Very large batches are heavy on a phone, so split them into two runs if the tab gets slow.
Convert PNG to PDF without a watermark
The output is clean on every plan. Some free converters add a first page with their logo or stamp the corner of each image. Yours comes back with your pages and nothing added.
Get the images back out of a PDF
The reverse job has its own tool. Every page of a PDF can be rendered back to a lossless PNG at the resolution you pick.

Converting PNG to PDF: FAQ
Are my PNG files uploaded anywhere?
The PDF is assembled in your browser, so your images never leave the device. There is nothing sitting on a server for you to delete afterwards.
How many PNGs can I put in one PDF?
Up to 100 images in a single run, each up to 30 MB. Add them all at once or in batches; the list keeps growing until you convert.
Can I combine several PNGs into one PDF?
Add as many as you need, move them into the order you want with the arrows, and they become one PDF with a page per image.
What happens to a transparent background?
Transparency is kept in the embedded image, but the page beneath it is plain white, so see-through areas simply show white. That is how a viewer or a printer would render it anyway.
Can I mix PNG and JPG in the same PDF?
Drop both kinds in together and order them however you like. The finished PDF treats them the same way. HEIC and WEBP are not accepted here.
Will the images lose quality?
Your PNGs are placed into the PDF as they are, so what you put in is what you get out. The file size of the PDF is roughly the total size of the images.
Can I pick the page size?
Choose a standard page size such as A4 or Letter, or fit each page to its image so there is no border around it.
Is there a watermark on the finished PDF?
None, on any plan. No logo page, no corner badge, no faint diagonal text. The PDF holds your images and nothing else.
Is there a daily limit?
The free plan covers 10 finished files a day, shared across every tool, and it resets at midnight UTC. The conversion still uses your machine rather than ours, so there is no queue to wait in.
