Common questions about PDF to JPG

How do I convert a PDF to JPG for free?+

Drop your PDF, choose a quality, and hit Convert. Every page turns into a JPG. Single-page PDFs download one JPG; multi-page PDFs download a ZIP with all the pages. No signup.

Is the conversion done in my browser?+

The conversion happens entirely in your browser. Each page is turned into a JPG on your device, and nothing is sent to a server. The only network traffic is the page load itself.

What does the quality setting do?+

It controls the resolution: 1× matches the PDF's native size, 2× doubles it (the sharper, recommended default), and 3× triples it for the crispest output. Higher settings produce bigger files.

Can I convert a multi-page PDF?+

Yes. Every page is converted to its own JPG. When there is more than one page, all the images are bundled into a single ZIP you download in one click. You can also download any individual page from the result grid.

Is there a watermark on the images?+

Nothing gets stamped on your images: no watermark, no corner mark, even on the free plan. Some converters put their logo on free downloads. FileHook never does.

Is there a file size limit?+

The PDF can be up to 50 MB. Very large or very high page-count files use more memory at higher quality settings. Drop to 1× or 2× if your browser struggles.
