What actually goes wrong
Unlock the bank statements first
ICICI, HDFC, SBI and Axis all ship statement PDFs locked with a password built from your date of birth or PAN. A locked file is unreadable to the lender's system and to this matcher. Remove the password before you build the pack.
Six months, one account
Lenders want the salary account, unbroken. If your bank gave you one long PDF, split it by month and drop the six you need in. The pack keeps them in date order.
