Imobiliárias almost universally underwrite to a comprovação de renda of three times the monthly rent, counting the household together. Send everyone's proof in the same file.
Guarantor or insurance, decide early
The fiador route needs a whole second document set from someone who owns property in the same city. Seguro-fiança costs more but turns a week of chasing into an afternoon.
