What is the IDBI credit card statement PDF password?
An IDBI Bank credit card email statement opens with the first 4 characters of your name as printed on the card, in capitals, followed by your birth date and month as DDMM, for example ANIT0507. Type it once below to save a copy that opens without a password. The unlocking runs in your browser, so the statement is not uploaded.
The IDBI Bank credit card statement password format
The first 4 characters of your name in capitals, as it appears on your IDBI Bank credit card, followed by your date of birth as DDMM.
Example: Anita Rao, born 5 July = ANIT0507
This rule is from IDBI's own card usage guide. It covers credit cards only. For savings and current account statements, finance sites say the password is your Customer ID, but IDBI does not publish that and the sites do not agree on how many digits it has, so we do not list it as a rule. The email your statement came in states the rule for your account, so read it if the format above does not open your file. If you never received a password rule at all, only IDBI credit card can send the statement again.

What about an IDBI savings account statement?
IDBI does not publish a rule for account statements. Finance sites say it is your Customer ID. Try that, and if it does not open the file, read the email the statement came in.
My IDBI credit card statement password is not working. What should I check?
Check capital and small letters first. Then check that you used your name exactly as the bank has it, that the date is day first and month second, and that you used the first holder's details on a joint account. Also check whether the file is an account statement or a card statement, since banks often use a different rule for each. The email the statement came in states the rule for your account.
Can this open a statement if I do not know the password?
No. You have to type the correct password first. The tool does not guess or recover passwords. If you cannot work it out, ask IDBI credit card to send the statement again or download a new copy after logging in.
