What is the IndusInd statement PDF password?
An IndusInd Bank e-statement opens with the first 4 characters of your name in capitals followed by your birth date and month as DDMM, for example NARE1509. Type it once below to save a copy that opens without a password. The unlocking runs in your browser, so the statement is not uploaded.
The IndusInd Bank statement password format
An 8 character password: the first 4 characters of your name in CAPITALS, followed by your date of birth as DDMM. Spaces in the name are skipped.
Example: Naresh Kumar, born 15 September = NARE1509
Your 8-digit Customer ID.
Example: Customer ID 12345678 = 12345678
This is the wording of IndusInd's own e-statement email. The page we read is the email for one IndusInd product, sent from the bank's e-statement address. We expect savings and card statements to follow it, but check the email if your file stays shut. The email your statement came in states the rule for your account, so read it if the format above does not open your file. If you never received a password rule at all, only IndusInd can send the statement again.

Work out your password
Take the first 4 characters of your name in capitals, skipping any space, and add your birth date and month as four digits. If that fails, try your 8-digit Customer ID.
Drop the IndusInd PDF and type it
Add the locked statement in the box above, type the password, and click Unlock. A wrong password only shows an error. Nothing downloads until it is right.
Save the unlocked copy
The new file downloads straight away and opens with no password from then on. Your original file is not changed.
IndusInd Bank statement password questions
What is the IndusInd statement PDF password?
An IndusInd Bank e-statement opens with the first 4 characters of your name in capitals followed by your birth date and month as DDMM, for example NARE1509.
My first name is only 3 letters long. What do I type?
Skip the space and take the next letter. IndusInd's own example is Raj Mathur, born 25 February, whose password is RAJM2502.
My IndusInd statement password is not working. What should I check?
Check capital and small letters first. Then check that you used your name exactly as the bank has it, that the date is day first and month second, and that you used the first holder's details on a joint account. Also check whether the file is an account statement or a card statement, since banks often use a different rule for each. The email the statement came in states the rule for your account.
Can this open a statement if I do not know the password?
No. You have to type the correct password first. The tool does not guess or recover passwords. If you cannot work it out, ask IndusInd to send the statement again or download a new copy after logging in.
Is my statement uploaded when I unlock it here?
No. The unlocking runs in your browser. The PDF and the password stay on your device and are not sent to our server.
